So it’s finally here, the first trailer of the very Oscar-buzz worthy Fences, directed by Denzel Washington and starring Washington and Viola Davis. The story is about an African American father named Troy (Washington) struggling with race relations in the United States while trying to raise his family in the 1950s and coming to terms with the events of his life. If Washington and Davis’ performances are any indication, this looks to be a very intense film and definitely worthy of all the praise it has received so far. The trailer doesn’t give much away but it does have me interested in the characters. Fences releases December 25th, 2016.

I have feeling that Denzel might get a few nominations for the movie at the upcoming award season
