Meryl Streep is one of the greatest actresses of all time and I don’t think anyone would argue with me on that one. I’ve enjoyed many of her films and I’m thinking I might enjoy this new one as well, “Florence Foster Jenkins”. In this one she plays Florence Foster Jenkins, a New York heiress who dreamed of becoming an opera singer despite having a terrible voice. I will say that we get a hint of that so called terrible voice here and I am interested in where she takes it. She sung in “Into the Woods” which I haven’t seen but can she sing badly? What we do get here is another seemingly great performance by Streep and a great supporting cast featuring Hugh Grant and Simon Helberg. Florence Foster Jenkins releases May 6th, 2016 in the UK (lucky chaps) and August 31st, 2016 in the US.

This looks like a good movie. Meryl Streep is def awesome. Loved her singing in Mama Mia and Ricki and the Flash. I saw Into the Woods. She was good, but I was disappointed with the movie. I didn’t like how it was edited or written. The didn’t flow or hang well.

Looks like a good movie. I liked her singing a lot in Mama Mia and Riki and the Flash. Although she was good Into the Woods, the movie didn’ t hang very well.
