I recently have come across a series of YouTube videos called Everything Wrong With where they look back at movies, trying to find mistakes or as they call them, sins. I found them pretty funny and insightful. I’ve also shared a few of them below:
I’ve talked about it before here but Hail, Caesar is the movie I’m looking forward to the most this year. Luckily for us, we won’t have to wait much longer to see it as it’ll be released in early February. It has a great cast, an original story, and is just funny. The first trailer revealed a lot about the film and this newer trailer doesn’t reveal much more about the film but instead just continues the funny and I’m okay with it. It stars Ralph Fiennes (Laurence Lorenz) and Alden Ehrenreich (Tobey) going over some lines and I’ve said enough. I am so happy to say Hail, Caesar releases February 5th, 2016.
George Clooney and Julia Roberts in a film directed by Jodie Foster anyone? If I haven’t already sold you, a trailer for their new film, “Money Monster”, was released recently. George Clooney stars as Lee Gates, a big TV personality whose financial network show “Money Monster” (coincidence) has made him popular on Wall Street. Once he gives advice which suddenly backfires, a disgruntled investor (Jack O’Connell) takes Gates and the rest of his crew, including his producer Patty Fenn (Julia Roberts) hostage. The trailer look pretty exciting and suspenseful and the chemistry between Clooney and Roberts, who have worked together on several occasions, made this even better. We don’t get to see too much of each of them together here, I am sure there will be more in the actual movie. I was curious about the fact Jodie Foster is directing this film since I haven’t seen anything she’s directed in the past. Money Monster releases May 13th, 2016.
