22nd Annual SAG Awards Winners and Prediction Results

Update: I’ve included the results of my previous predictions and I didn’t do too bad. Five predictions is admittedly not much but I did get 3 of them right. Now on to the Oscars!

One For the Kids

I personally like all types of movies as long as they have a decent story and decent acting. They don’t always need to have actions, explosions, or other fantastic special effects for me to enjoy them. That’s why I like kids movies as they provide a much worthy escape and bring me back to my own childhood. The animation used in movies these days have never been better and their stories aren’t always just for kids as some resonate in adults as well. Below are a few examples which you may or may not know about and which I am looking forward to.

Bland Water (The Finest Hours Review)

In February of 1952, one of the worst storms to ever hit the East Coast struck New England, damaging an oil tanker off the coast of Cape Cod and literally ripping it in half. On a small lifeboat faced with frigid temperatures and 70-foot high waves, four members of the Coast Guard, Bernie Webber (Chris Pine), Richard Livesey (Ben Foster), Andy Fitzgerald (Kyle Gallner), and Ervin Maske (John Magaro), set out to rescue the more than 30 stranded sailors trapped aboard the rapidly-sinking vessel.
