TelevisionBern Your Enthusiasm

Keith NoakesFebruary 8, 2016

Larry David hosted Saturday Night Live this past Saturday night. He’s rekindled some interest in the show as of late thanks to his impression of current presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. Larry David is known for many things such as being the co-creator of Seinfeld but many know him as the star of the HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm. Like Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm often involves the particulars of daily life, and plots often revolved around his many little mistakes and his problems with certain social conventions and expectations, as well as his annoyance with other people’s behavior. He always seemed to have a hard time letting things go, which often leads him into awkward situations. I am definitely a fan of his character on the show so I was excited when I saw a sketch on the show where he combined his Curb character along with his impression of Bernie Sanders. Political or not, I thought it was funny and genius. Here’s a video of said sketch below.
