When a bunch of kids visit an ancient Indian burial ground, it usually doesn’t end well. This doesn’t change here in The Darkness. Kevin Bacon stars as Peter Taylor, a father whose family appears to be haunted by a group of spirits who may or may not have been disturbed by their son Michael (David Mazouz). There appears to be a connection between him and these spirits as they seemed to have caused him to act strangely (as most spirits do). This seems like a pretty average family-centered horror movie and I fear that we probably saw all of its scares in the trailer but the story looks interesting and I am a Bacon fan. The Darkness releases May 13th, 2016.
