Why can’t the government just leave special kids alone? In Midnight Special, this is not the case as a father and son go on the run after he learns that his son possess special powers. I’m not sure if my previous point is true but who else would want someone with special powers? If you couldn’t tell from the part about the kid with special powers, this is a sci-fi movie. The trailer doesn’t really show much more sci-fi but I’m getting alien vibes. What interests me is the cast they managed to assemble including Michael Shannon, Joel Edgerton, Kirsten Dunst, and Adam Driver. This movie looks interesting but it’s name is unfortunate but may have some future significance. Midnight Special releases March 18th, 2016.
