Do you like the Purge movie series? Do you like parodies? If you answered yes (as I would) to both questions, then Meet the Blacks might very well be the movie for you. I’m trying not to sound racist here but I’ve always found that the best parody films as of late have seemingly been centered on black people. Beit your Scary Movies (mostly the first few), your A Haunted Houses, and your Fifty Shades of Blacks, these movies haven’t necessarily always been “great” but they’ve been mostly funny (and perhaps a little offensive). Meet the Blacks is a movie about a family called the Blacks who move into a suburban neighborhood around the time of the annual purge. So predictably, the movie appears to consist of making fun of white people which is okay because some of us deserve to be made fun of. Meet the Blacks releases April 1st, 2016.
