Don’t you sometimes wish that you had a better childhood? At least I do/did. What triggered these feelings for me was a recent trailer I saw for a film entitled Sing Street. It is about an Irish boy growing up in the 80s named Cosmo (Ferdia Walsh-Peelo) tries to escape his family by starting a band and moving to London (as one would do). As one would expect, this is because of a girl. Seeing that this is a British movie, expect a bunch of eccentric characters with the most so far being Brendan (Jack Reynor). The film looks interesting so far with a likeable main character and a decent supporting cast. This also promises to have music from The Cure, A-ha, Duran Duran, The Clash, Hall & Oates, Spandau Ballet and The Jam. Sing Street releases April 15th, 2016.
