One thing I’ve always thought was lacking was movies about math. The only ones I can think of right now are A Beautiful Mind and Good Will Hunting. Here’s another one in The Man Who Knew Infinity. Indian mathematical prodigy Srinivasa Ramanujan (Dev Patel) earns admission to Cambridge University during WWI, becoming a pioneer in mathematical theories under the guidance of his professor, G.H. Hardy (Jeremy Irons). The two inevitably have a strong relationship where they end up doing great things (educated guess here). I’ve always liked Dev Patel and Jeremy Irons so I’m willing to give this a try. Stephen Fry and Toby Jones are also in this. The Man Who Knew Infinity releases April 8th, 2016.
