I was fortunate (or maybe unfortunate) enough not to ever go to a summer camp. I’ve never been known to be the outdoorsy type. I’ve personally never been a fan of outside as I’ve always found it to be scary. Luckily I will get to live vicariously though the people in this movie, “Summer Camp”. It is a horror movie but aren’t all summer camps horror movies. Amirite? This one involves four Americans counselors at at a European summer camp who must deal with the outbreak of a rage-inducing plague among the children they are supervising. What was kind of weird to me was that, based on only the trailer so far, in a movie about a summer camp, there doesn’t appear to be any kids. So far this “virus” seems to have only affected the adults, causing them to turn on each other to varying horrific results. Summer Camp releases March 18th, 2016.
