Tale of Tales

When you think of two people who go well together, I’m sure that the first two people you think of are Salma Hayek and John C. Reilly. Alas, here they are in Tale of Tales. I will be honest and say that I’m not quite sure what’s going on in the trailer but I’m getting a medieval vibe. The synopsis I found says that the story is a loose interpretation of the celebrated tales of Giambattista Basile. It’s about a land with three neighboring kingdoms. One king was a fornicating libertine, another captivated by a strange animal, while one of the queens was obsessed by her wish for a child. Based on the trailer, the story may not be clear but this was a still of trailer. Despite that, it still looks kind of interesting based on those involved, which also includes Toby Jones. Tale of Tales releases April 22nd, 2016.

Search Party (NSFW)

A raunchy comedy starring two of my favorite actors of one of my favorite shows, Thomas Middleditch and T.J. Miller from Silicon Valley. If you didn’t know, the white guy in the video thumbnail below is Middleditch. Convinced that his buddy Nardo (Middleditch) is making the mistake of a lifetime by marrying Tracy (Shannon Woodward), Jason (Miller) puts a dramatic end to their wedding. When Nardo follows Track to Mexico, where their honeymoon would have been, he gets carjacked with his clothes and money stolen as well. Nardo, now stranded in the Mexican desert sends an SOS to Jason and their friend Evan (Adam Pally). Over the course of Nardo’s captivity and during Jason and Evan’s attempt to rescue Nardo, hijinks ensue which could only mean comedy gold. Search Party releases May 13th, 2016.
