When I first started this site 1 year ago, I didn’t think I would ever last this long but here we are. If you would like to read my first ever post, click here. Since I have never done this before, I didn’t really know what I was doing (some would say I still don’t). Over time, I’ve been learning through experience by posting almost every day. I try very hard to do so and I can probably count the number of days I missed on one hand.
This kind of started off as more of a personal blog which still remains but over time, it has veered more towards movie reviews and other general movie related stuff. I have dabbled in television and video games but I haven’t always had the time to cover those as much as I would like. If you would like to help with this or anything else, which would be greatly appreciated, you can find all the details here.
I’ve written 732 of the 736 posts on this site with the other 4 being guest reviews of This is the End by Liam of the Motion Picture Blog and reviews of High-Rise, Equals, and Now You See Me 2 by my friend Dan from getreelmovies.com.
Out of the 732 posts I’ve written 278 movie reviews, 136 video (clips, trailers, or other) posts, 115 personal blog posts, 66 TV posts, and 7 measly video game posts just to name a few. This averages out to just over 2 posts a day which is pretty good. If I had more time, this number would be much higher.
I’ve posted a few times in the past about looking for a job and that is still the case today as I am still looking to get out of a job that I really hate. If you want to know how much I hate my job, then you can read any of my past posts about it. I would much rather have a job related to this as this is what I would rather do with my life. When it comes to experience or a resume, I would just refer to this site as this my only related experience since they only other job I’ve ever had was be a cashier at a grocery store since September 2008 up until today. If anyone reading this is interested, you can find me via the contact section on the website or through Twitter or Facebook.
So that’s pretty much what I did this past year and I hope to continue with this for another year and then we’ll see how it goes.
Thank You to All!
