Star Trek Beyond

If you would like to read any of my past related posts, click here. There isn’t really much more to be said here other than I am very excited for this one. In this clip, we see Scotty (Simon Pegg) who is on a strange planet and is looking for the rest of the crew. There he meets this female alien named Jaylah (Sofia Boutella), he would like to find the crew but she is asking for his help. He is a little apprehensive but he has no better option so he decides to go with her.

Lights Out

I am a big fan of horror movies because they are the best at eliciting emotions and feelings. The first trailer felt original to me as I don’t remember ever seeing something like it before, especially the part when the woman flicks the light on and off and the scary woman gets closer and closer. You kind of know what was going to happen but it still gets to you and I like it. Below are a pair of clips that I will personally not watch but you all can if you want but I just don’t want it ruined for me.

Pete’s Dragon

If you would like to read my thoughts on the first trailer, click here. I haven’t seen the original animated film in which this is based so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to suspend belief here. It’s kind of hard to believe that a dragon can live in a modern forest without anyone noticing. Maybe it’ll hit me in the feels like most Disney movies and I’ll end up forgetting all this but I’ll just have to wait and see. At least Robert Redford is here. Enjoy these 3 clips below.

Bad Moms

Definitely an interesting concept for sure. I don’t think there has been many wild lady movies other than maybe Bridesmaids. There is so much pressure on moms, having to live up to all these expectations but it’s nice to see them get to let loose every once in awhile. Perhaps I won’t be able to relate to this (for obvious reasons) but I am a big fan of all the ladies they have lined up here where they’ve been great in many past comedies. Below are a foursome of clips.
