Assassin’s Creed Official Trailer 2

If you would like to watch the first trailer, click here. Everyone knows about the video game series in which this is based. I am vaguely familiar with it so I’m glad it has its own story. For those who don’t know, this one is about a man named Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) who while he explores the memories of his ancestor Aguilar and gains the skills of a Master Assassin, he discovers he is a descendant of the secret Assassins society. While the first trailer was a general overview of everything, this one focuses a little more on the details surrounding Lynch’s captivity and we also see some of the other people in there with him, including Michael Kenneth Williams as Moussa. This looks exciting and we are just over 2 months away from the release of Assassin’s Creed on December 21st, 2016.

So, This Is a Thing …

Sometimes you come across a trailer that just makes you go huh? This one definitely fits the bill. In a world full of sequels and remakes, it’s sometimes good to think outside the box but the box is there for a reason. Not all ideas are created equal and with that here is The Boss Baby:

This one is about a suit-wearing briefcase-carrying baby (Alec Baldwin). Baldwin has a great voice but I just can’t imagine him as a baby. I realize this is based on a book of the same name but not all books should be made into movies, animated or otherwise. Regardless of the voice cast they assembled here, featuring Lisa Kudrow, Steve Buscemi, and Jimmy Kimmel, I can’t quite get behind the story. It’s just so silly but kids probably won’t mind it. Maybe I’m completely off-base seeing that this was just a teaser but we’ll see. Here the baby pairs up with his seven-year old brother to stop the dastardly plot of the CEO of Puppy Co, so basically a typical plot for a kids movie. The Boss Baby releases March 31st, 2017.
