When you thought it was over (it technically won’t be over for a little while), here’s another Fast and the Furious movie. Since there can only be so many variations of the title, this new eight entry in the series is entitled The Fate of the Furious (maybe the next one will be The Fate of the Fast). While there are still cars driving fast and doing stunts and there is plenty of action to be had, the story is a little different now with the series mainstay Dominic ‘Dom’ Toretto (Vin Diesel) seemingly working against his friends and joining forces with the mysterious Cipher (Charlize Theron). All the usual suspects were high but I was particularly looking forward to seeing Helen Mirren in action (I will take me awhile to get used to that). The Fate of the Furious releases April 14th, 2017.
