Update: I am also looking for TV writers for streaming shows, reality TV, and wrestling.
The site has made quite some headway over the last 2+ years, reviewing movies and TV shows but what next? We’ve arranged a group of movie writers, tackling the newest releases and have also started to cover TV this season, however, we can do much better. I know we can do better. This is why I’m looking for some more writers for the site, both to supplement our TV section and to cover entertainment news.
Writers will scour the internet or social media for the latest movie or TV news which may or may not include rewriting articles (similar to screenrant.com). Expect to write a minimum of a few short articles (under 500 words or longer if necessary) on a weekly basis.
Writers will write episode (under 1000 words) and season (1000-1500 words) reviews for network, cable, or streaming shows. Writers must submit episode reviews within 24 hours of their initial east coast airing and season reviews within 2 weeks of the initial season finale airing.
In both cases, posts will be seen by 10,000+ monthly site viewers from 180+ countries as well as our 8.000+ followers over social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram). This can be a great stepping stone to further success as writers will be provided with a byline so they can promote their own social media or personal websites. This will be an unpaid position but with the growth of the site, can come opportunities in the form of screeners and other special privileges.
If interested, please fill out the form below and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I look forward to hearing from you.
