Without a doubt, the first official trailer of Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings is one of the better trailers from an MCU movie in quite some time. There’s a look going on in the latest trailer, it’s a jammed pack full of action, Easter eggs, and amazing visuals. I don’t know how Marvel does it, take a low-level Superhero and turn them into something so entertaining and enjoyable, it truly is a remarkable achievement.
Look no further than Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), the master of Kung-Fu. All he is doing throughout this trailer is throwing down with other dudes. Trying to get his hands on the magical Ten Rings, it appears that he left his home and his responsibilities to try and lead a normal life, but we all know that never ever works in movies. Your past always catches up to you, and soon enough he will find himself and become who he was meant to be.
Whether it was the giant dog-like creature, the gorgeous color schemes sprinkled in, or the incredible fight choreography, this trailer was so well done. After 20 plus movies in the MCU, I do feel like these next wave of heroes and movies will really breathe new life into this franchise. The MCU will only continue to get more diverse and it will never stop growing.
There’s even cage fighting going down and we see that everyone’s favorite MCU villain, The Abomination is back in the thick of things!
