Rating Summary
Bingo Hell is an amazing watch worth recommending for those looking for a twisted take on the game of bingo.

Gigi Saul Guerrero is admirable for many reasons because she truly is a very genuine person who seems very supportive of everyone in the film industry. Her likable personalities spill over her latest film, Bingo Hell, part of the Welcome to Blumhouse film series on Amazon Prime Video. This film follows a woman named Lupita played by a charismatic Barraza who tries to keep her community strong and refuse to be gentrified in their own town. Meanwhile, the film has so much heart and carries so much charm that it is sure to have countless viewers smiling throughout. There is so much to love about having the iconic Richard Brake as Mr. Big, the film’s villain, was the perfect casting choice. Coming from a Hispanic background, it’s easy to see a lot of one’s older family members in Lupita. The film tackles many themes such as family, community, greed, values and so much more. One can truly learn a lot about life in general by watching.

The great thing about Bingo Hell is that one can see Guerrero’s love of the horror genre, providing some great fan service to those in the community. The film features some fun scenes that explore gore, action and even goo, lots of goo! There was not one character that didn’t feel like that shined. Every character had some good moments to understand who they are and what they stand for in life. It was very sad in moments, when things didn’t work out for those characters. Lupita, as a character, is a total badass and a real treat to follow. The set design of the bingo center was perfectly created and they did a great job at making everything truly pop out, making for a visual treat. The film also boats some of the best editing in a long time. Greatly-paced, one can’t help but want more.

The whole cast and crew behind Bingo Hell made for an amazing watch worth recommending for those looking for a twisted take on the game of bingo. There are some brutal scenes that horror fans are gonna die for. The film is currently streaming as part of the Welcome to Blumhouse film series on Amazon Prime Video.
