Synopsis: Alicia enlists Morgan’s help to search for a new home for her people, but Morgan soon learns the search is more complicated than he imagined. (IMDb)

There are so many things about Padre that cross lines that probably should have been crossed in the Walking Dead universe. One of them is a massive spoiler so without giving too much away, it involves a particular character’s arm. Secondly, wow, this episode packs an enormous punch in terms of a certain someone’s return. Well who would have guessed that would have happened to said person for whom we can’t quite mention.

At the time of publishing, this episode has been out for a while so for those who happen to be hardcore fans, they probably already know what happened. However, for anyone that doesn’t, be prepared. The last 10 minutes of this episode is SO good; viewers will surely find themselves wondering why it took so long for the episode to get there.

Meanwhile, the Strand and Morgan face-off that everyone has been waiting for didn’t happen. But that’s okay because something else did, which kind of makes up for that. As much as many are hoping to see Morgan and Strand duke it out, the alternative is more than acceptable and still extremely exciting!

This will also be the last bit of Fear The Walking Dead content that seeing that the season has reached its midseason finale. So we’re going to be sitting here waiting patiently for this “battle” to begin when the series comes back next April. It will certainly be interesting to see if anyone significant is going to meet their grisly end. It is entirely possible as the writers know what gets the fans’ juices flowing.

Also, poor Will. To be reminded of what Strand did to him was just depressing. Thankfully, that scene opened up a massive can of worms that we won’t get to see unfold until the series April 2022 return. But hopefully we’ll also see whether or not Padre exists because this episode did not answer that question.

Thanks for joining me on this Fear The Walking Dead journey this season and we hope to see you next year!
