Sometimes it can be quite hard to find something to stream on Netflix? For those who like animated series geared towards more adult audiences, here’s all the new and returning adult animated series set to release in 2022 and beyond.

Returning series:

Arcane Season 2

The second season of Arcane, the highly-acclaimed and popular adaptation of League of Legends is set to release sometime in 2023.


Love, Death & Robots Season 2

New episodes of Love, Death & Robots are set to hit Netflix in summer 2022.


Big Mouth Season 6

At least one more season of Big Mouth, Netflix’s coming-of-age comedy series is coming soon. Viewers should expect it either later this year or early 2023.


Inside Job Season 1, Part 2

Fans of Inside Job need not wait much longer for the 10 episode back half or second part of the first season as it is expected to release sometime later this year.

Similar to Inside Job, a 8 episode back half or second part of the first season of Chicago Partty Aunt is expected to release sometime later this year.

Agent King

Agent King sees Elvis Presley (yes, that Elvis Presley) trading in his jumpsuit in for a jetpack and a gun joining a secret spy program battling forces that threaten the United States of America in this new animated series created by John Eddie.


BRZRKR

BRZRKR, the crowdfunded comic book franchise created by Matt Kindt and Keanu Reeves is getting a live-action film adaptation starring Reeves and also an anime series spin-off series.


Captain Laserhawk : A Blood Dragon Remix

Captain Laserhawk : A Blood Dragon Remix is a 6 episode animated series based on the Far Cry 3 expansion Blood Dragon will be created and produced by Adi Shankar who has previously worked on Netflix’s Castlevania series and the recently-released experimental series, The Guardians of Justice. The series is set to feature many alter egos of famous Ubisoft characters in “a highly-referenced homage to the early 90s.”


Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is an animated series based on CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk franchise. The synopsis reads as:

“A Street Kid trying to survive in a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he chooses to stay alive by becoming an Edgerunner, a Mercenary outlaw also known as a Cyberpunk.”


Entergalactic

Entergalactic is a musical series created by Ian Edelman and featuring Kid Cudi about a young man on a journey to discover love.


Magic: The Gathering

Coming from Allspark Animation, the team behind Transformers and My Little Pony, Magic: The Gathering is an on-screen adaptation of the tabletop and digital card game.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: A new animated adaptation of the classic Ubisoft spy video game franchise.

Tomb Raider: An anime adaptation of the classic adventure video-game franchise.

Terminator: A series based on the Terminator franchise.

Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas: A prequel to Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead.

Scott Pilgrim: Adapted previously by Edgar Wright, Scott Pilgram is a new anime series for Scott Pilgram with Bryan Lee O’Malley and Ben David Grabinski writing and producing.

Bad Crimes: Mike Judge and Greg Daniels are producing this comedy procedural that sees FBI agents who travel across the country solving crimes. Nicole Byer and Lauren Lapkus are set to star.
