limonade saw Barry continue his well-intentioned yet misguided journey to right wrongs no matter who or what was in his way.

Barry may have good intentions but he often goes about it in a misguided way. Though he clearly cares about people, he is not wired in the same way as you and I. This was unsurprisingly still the case here as this episode saw him go about enacting his ultimate plan of making it up to Cousineau. Whether or not Cousineau himself was grateful remains to be seen, however, this did not dissuade Barry who was full steam ahead and not letting anyone or anything get in his way which did not go unnoticed by those in his path. His plan was to do whatever it took to get Cousineau work to help him move on from Janice. Little did he know, Cousineau’s reputation was not exactly the greatest.

Things got tense between Barry and Cousineau but the former maybe wasn’t catching on to what was really happening. Leave it to Cousineau to ground that relationship with his frenetic energy. The chemistry between Hader and Winkler was extraordinary. Barry got himself an acting job on a big show while an impassioned plea to some casting directors got Cousineau a job as well. As far as they were concerned, it’s unknown if they’ll survive until then. Cousineau may have attempted a harrowing escape but whichever way it was going to end, it’ll be with both of them together.

Meanwhile, Sally is feeling the pressure to have her show ready and perfect in time for airing which was pushed up in order to get ahead of potential competition. Hank and Cristobal’s relationship took a hit as they found themselves in the middle of a war which neither wanted to be a part of.

The series could just be Barry and Cousineau and that would be more than alright for this reviewer.
