When we thought we knew all the secrets of the Arconia, the building keeps finding ways to surprise us. Those secrets look to be key in solving the case of Bunny’s murder for which it was now clear that Charles, Oliver, and Mabel were innocent of. Meanwhile, it would take some returning characters and the eagerly-anticipated arrival of one to push the story forward.

But first, it’s time to see our characters in more of their natural habitat once again. The new version of Brazzos is now underway though it wasn’t exactly what he expected. Oliver has Will directing a school play to worry about. However, his biggest worry is the return of Teddy Dimas at the Arconia. He’s under house arrest awaiting trial. Ultimately, it was the unexpected arrival of Charles’ estranged daughter Lucy (Zoe Colletti) was the one who truly brought everyone together. That being said, he did not want to be part of their investigation. Whether Charles wanted it or not, she was.

The discovery of a system of catacombs connecting the apartments proved to be a major breakthrough as Bunny looked to be a major hurdle to Nina’s future plans for the Arconia while there was trouble with Teddy and Theo Dimas’ relationship. Not recording the former, it was up to Charles, Oliver, and Mabel to get a confession from Nina but things went much differently as the very-pregnant Nina went into labor.

As the dust settled, Charles and Oliver took the time to connect with their children. Oliver helped Will with his play. Lucy just wanted her dad to be happy while things were not easy for her without him. It was trouble at home that led her back to Charles. Lucy revealed that she was at the Arconia much earlier which was the night that our three got arrested. Hiding in the catacombs, she caught a glimpse of Bunny’s murder and her killer.

For now, Charles sent Lucy away as he needed help from an unlikely source, visiting Jan in prison.
