Directed by Clint Bentley from a script he wrote with Greg Kwedar (the duo last worked together on the Oscar-nominated Sing Sing), this breathtakingly beautiful film drew raves out of Sundance

(it’s currently 97% on Rotten Tomatoes).

THR’s David Rooney wrote, “At the risk of gushing, I adored this perfectly formed movie. It elevates Bentley into the league of essential American filmmakers.” Nick Schager at The Daily Beast called it “the best film of this year’s Sundance Film Festival,” and Bilge Ebiri at New York Magazine declared, “Train Dreams is a staggering work of art.”

TRAIN DREAMS, which is making its international premiere at this year’s TIFF, will be in select theaters November 7th and premieres on Netflix on November 21st. It stars Joel Edgerton (who’s also an EP) delivering what Marshall Shaffer at The Playlist hailed as “a career-best performance” alongside Academy Award nominees Felicity Jones, Kerry Condon, and William H. Macy.

The film features a stunning score composed by Academy Award nominee / multi-Grammy winner Bryce Dessner (The Two Popes, The Revenant).
