Based on a novella by Denis Johnson, Train Dreams was directed by Clint Bentley from a script he co-wrote with Greg Kwedar, and stars Joel Edgerton as Robert Grainier, a logger and railroad worker who leads a life of unexpected depth and beauty in the rapidly-changing America of the early 20th Century.
Edgerton (who also serves as an EP) delivers what Vanity Fair called “a career-best performance” alongside Academy Award nominees Felicity Jones, Kerry Condon, and William H. Macy.
TRAIN DREAMS debuted at Sundance, made its international premiere at TIFF, and will be featured at the BFI London Film Festival. It’s certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a score of 98% and has generated a plethora of critical praise from The New Yorker, Vulture, The Hollywood Reporter,The Daily Beast and dozens more.
