Oscar Restrepo’s obsession with poetry brought him no glory. Aging and erratic, he has succumbed to the cliché of the poet in the shadows. Meeting Yurlady, a humble teenager, brings some light to his days, but dragging her into the world of poets may not be the way. A POET premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 2025, where it won the Un Certain Regard Jury Prize, and later screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film was written, produced and directed by Simón Mesa Soto (Amparo, Mother).

Mythical imagery of the Lesotho landscape tethers to a poetic voiceover, in which a filmmaker muses on his childhood, the dreams and bravery of his mother, the wonder of cinema, and exile. His camera crosses paths with enigmatic figures—the Market Seller, the Puppeteer—on a journey of rediscovery. ANCESTRAL VISIONS OF THE FUTURE premiered at Berlin International Film Festival in 2025, and later screened at Vancouver International Film Festival. The film was written, directed and produced by Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese, who also served as cinematographer, screenwriter and producer.
KILLER’S KISS

Boxer Davey Gordon paces the concourse at New York’s Penn Station, waiting for his girl, Gloria, and a train to take them away from the city. He turns over in his mind the tumultuous events that led him there, involving a boxing match, a mannequin warehouse, a ballerina, and some ruthless gangsters. KILLER’S KISS is director Stanley Kubrick’s second feature film, and stars Frank Silvera, Jamie Smith and Irene Kane. The film is streaming on MUBI alongside Kubrick’s PATHS OF GLORY and THE KILLING.

Solo Sunny (Drama, Music) – Streaming on August 1, 2026

Sunny is a frontwoman of a mediocre pop band, playing to uninspiring audiences in small towns. She feels vaguely unfulfilled, and begins a romance with a philosopher-saxophonist, who has an obsession with death. After quarreling with a bandmate, she finds herself thrown out of the group. SOLO SUNNY premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival in 1980, where it won four awards, including Best Actress for Renate Krößner and the Silver Bear.

Easter Snap (Documentary, Short) – Streaming August 1, 2026

Keeping a homestead ritual alive, five Alabama men work closely together to process a slaughtered hog before handing it over to a family in the hills. Guided by an elder named Johnny Blackmon, they scald, dehair, and clean the carcass, enjoying each other’s company in the process. EASTER SNAP premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and later screened at the 2019 Chicago International Film Festival, where it received the Gold Hugo for Documentary Short Film.
THE LONELINESS OF LIZARDS

The Loneliness of Lizards (Short, Drama) – Streaming on August 21, 2026

Guests at an unusual spa in southern Portugal bathe, exfoliate, slumber, and unwind, as laborers work the terrain’s natural salt flats. One woman seems at odds with the other vacationers, in an evening dress creased with unease. When night falls, the space changes, porous to the visitors’ desires. THE LONELINESS OF LIZARDS premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 2025 in the Short Films competition.
