Synopsis: Dwight and Sherry team up with a mysterious faction of people to take down Ginny; when Morgan unexpectedly offers to help, a power struggle ensues. (IMDb)
As far as this season in concerned, character should be less concerned with changing and more with action as it seems to be dragging its feet towards an inevitable conclusion.
Honey is the first episode this season to go back to a previous subplot, starting with Dwight and Sherry picking up where they left off after their reunion at the end of the last episode. That was until they were interrupted by the radio, however, they had to figure out a way out of their current predicament. However, a more pressuring issue presented itself once they were abducted by a mysterious group. In reality, the group was made up of Virginia’s outcasts and Sherry was a part of them as they are who kept her alive. In the end, they wanted her location and were willing to go to great lengths in order to get it, threatening Al’s life to do so. Luckily, she was saved by another group member, a man Dwight saved a few times previously. The group’s plan was to rush the SWAT tank but Al’s suggestion was they steal it.
Armed with intel of where it will be, they struck while the tank put up a fight. Dwight found a way inside and kicked the driver out not without him seeing his face first. Luckily, Morgan was able to rangle the escaped driver. Grace’s location is still a mystery. Morgan wanted to bring the others to the place he was trying to build though the others were more interested in striking Virginia now. He warned against it (there are risks and they should get their people out first as they would be put at risk as well) and urged them to wait until the time was right, also offering to take anyone to his hideout, however, the majority of the others were dead set on their plan. Continuing on that plan, the group interrogated the driver but Morgan put an end to it (he died anyway). Ultimately, they were going to have Virginia come to them.
Al and Morgan’s backup was stopped by Dwight but not linking the person he was becoming, Sherry sidelined him too though it wouldn’t be for long. He saw the light and tried to be the voice of reason for her. Fortunately, he stopped her from taking out a group of rangers (Virginia of course wasn’t there) and potentially making things worse for everyone. Sherry still wasn’t happy about it (this was yet another thing she could have done but didn’t). They were in different places as people so they couldn’t be together right now.
With the group having left, Al and Dwight took the people they saved from the last episode (who were hiding in a truck the whole time) and led them towards Morgan’s hideout. His plan was to take out Virginia at some point but he had a different idea in mind.
Still taking the long way around, look for a final showdown at Morgan’s hideout sooner rather than later hopefully.
