Brosnan vs. Craig

Despite the fact that I finished Bond movies last Tuesday with Spectre, there are still remaining questions that need to be answered such as who was the better Bond, Brosnan or Craig (I’m assuming here that Spectre will be Craig’s final Bond film but that is yet to be decided).

As I’ve done before when comparing the two previous Bonds (Lazenby and Dalton don’t count here), Sean Connery and Roger Moore, I will compare Brosnan and Craig based on my average reviews of their films. This comparison will be a little more fair since both Brosnan and Craig have each done 4 movies.

Brosnan (Goldeneye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough, Die Another Day): 7.38/10

Craig (Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre): 8.0/10

So based on this comparison, it appears that Craig is the better Bond out of these two. It was a little surprising to me that Brosnan’s average was very similar to both Connery’s and Moore’s average but Craig’s was slightly over a half point more than the other three.

I would say that these averages match up with my current opinion that Daniel Craig is the best Bond of the series.
