Susie Myerson and associates continue to get off the ground as Susie is learning how to be a manager for the first time which presented its own set of challenges when hiring secretarial candidates. Chewing quietly was allegedly a good quality for a candidate. The first big one was getting rid of Sophie Lennon. Susie’s idea was to get her an interview on the Gordon Ford (Reid Scott) show for which their booker reluctantly agreed which went well.

All of that was set aside once Midge and Susie found invitations to Shy Baldwin’s wedding reception which was odd considering what happened. Nevertheless, they attended only to take advantage of the free food and booze. Baldwin was much different than when we saw him last. The Midge and Baldwin reunion was touching if only for her finally getting the chance to apologize to him. That being said, they were not friends. In the end, Midge and Susie were only invited as a ploy to pay Midge off in exchange for not telling the world what she knew about Baldwin for which she refused, much to the chagrin of Susie. Her promise to him was enough for her.

Rose found herself a big opportunity as a matchmaker for the daughters of a wealthy businessman named Solomon Melamid (Scott Cohen). His only concern was the discretion of her and her family therefore Midge was clearly a cause of concern. Rose’s snooping of her daughter and the perception issue of her current job concerned her.

The pressure of their relationship is getting to Joel and Mei. The latter’s meeting with Joel’s parents for the first time concerned her but it was for naught as she didn’t make it as he explained away her absence though still couldn’t tell them the truth about her.

Returning back to the office from Shy Baldwin’s wedding reception, Susie found one more secretarial candidate who had been waiting all day, a woman named Dinah Rutledge (Alfie Fuller). She got the job if only for her ability to get Susie which certainly did not go unnoticed. On the other hand, Midge saw a man she recognized on the side of the road as she was heading home in her taxi. She got it to pull over so she can take him home with her.

That Susie and Dinah dynamic is certainly one worth looking forward to. As far as Baldwin is concerned he is inevitably not out of the picture just yet as she seemingly still has feelings for Midge and she for him. It will certainly be interesting to see where it all goes from here.
