Sicarius is bound to slip up eventually. The case may be closed but it’s going to take more than that to stop the BAU. The last episode ended with Rossi getting a sight of him but identifying would be easier said than done though Rossi is no one that could be shaken off so easily. While the Sicarius case may be closed, the BAU may have been given another chance in by the investigation into Elias’ uncle’s death, featuring evidence that could potentially connect it all.
Sicarius, was up to his old tricks in abducting a female real estate agent named Ramona Havener (Kerry Knuppe) to essentially use as practice confronting his wife with his real wife Bridget (Kiele Sanchez) subbing in. Zach Gilford was scary as it was definitely chilling to watch but their encounter did not end perhaps in the way most would expect with him not killing her. He left that task to one of his serial killer network minions. Unfortunately for them, his plan was botched by the heat he was getting by the police and FBI who showed up due to the Sicarius connections. Despite killing himself before the BAU could apprehend him, Ramona was found and freed. She was freed but refused to identify her kidnapper, still feeling the threat to her family.
Meanwhile, The Jareau household saw some friction as their oldest son Henry (Mekhai Andersen) was very much listening what was going on, unbeknownst to his parents.
Rossi made the biggest headway as he and Garcia found another lead in that truck stop surveillance footage where he tried to connect Sicarius to who appeared to have tried to call him. A long list of numbers, he was going to go door to door to find them. Per chance, the episode ended with him ending up finding the Holt home in Seattle. It’s not going to end well. Elias was ready to tell his wife the truth but Rossi may tell her first.
