In three segments of a nine-part series, South African artist William Kentridge chronicles how he creates intricate, wall-sized charcoal drawings of the vistas from his childhood in Johannesburg and life-sized paintings of himself — all while ruminating on the puzzle of self-knowledge. An exciting innovation for both the filmed entertainment and art worlds, this release represents a combination of fine art acquisition and streaming rights. It marks the first time that MUBI has acquired exclusive global rights to a series edition of a work of art.

Amidst a period of unprecedented world events, an eighteen-year-old girl’s life is placed on hold. Isolated in her bedroom, she falls under the spell of the mysterious vlogger Patricia Coma. As time carries on, the lines between her dreams, fears, hopes, and reality begin to blur into one another. Coma won the FIPRESCI Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2022.
