I haven’t written about my own situation in a while so I thought I’d give you an update. I’ve been looking for a job for myself for a very long time. The last time I wrote about this was over a year and a half ago here.
To sum things up, over two years ago, due to some unfortunate circumstances, I had to move an hour away from where I lived and worked (for people from the Ottawa area, I had to move from Westboro to Barrhaven). I still work at a grocery store from where I used to live and have worked there for over 8 years. Things have been going downhill for me ever since I moved. I had a hard time due to those unfortunate circumstances back then and things are slightly better now but I am still being punished for it.
Over the course of those two years, I’ve come close to finding a closer job a few times but I still haven’t been successful. I’ve tried finding a job through conventional means but I have decided to put myself out there once again.
You can find my personal resume here. It’s not much because the only practical job I’ve ever had was at the grocery store. I hope that you will look past this and see what I have done with this site, check out our media kit here.
That may not be much but I think I’ve proven myself to some degree and I believe that I can be a great service to any individual or organization.
I have shown that I can be a blogger and/or content writer, using my extensive knowledge of movies and TV and I can also leverage my social media following of almost 7,500 across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and WordPress.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, I live in Ottawa so obviously something there would work but I would also be willing to work remotely as well. I have my own desktop computer with high-speed wireless internet and I already have experience working with different time zones as I have done so working on my site.
If anyone is interested, feel free to contact me via my email address, [email protected]
Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon.
