With the weekend coming to an end and a new year just beginning, check out how the North American box office fared. After being unseated last week, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle continues to surprise and has retaken the #1 position from last week’s #1, Maze Runner: The Death Cure. Total gross is low across the board coming off of Super Bowl weekend with many incumbents continuing to perform well (I’m surprised The Greatest Showman is still up there at #4). This week’s only new wide release Winchester opened in third place behind Jumanji and Maze Runner. It will definitely be interesting to see what will happen with the release of Fifty Shades Freed next weekend.

Maze Runner had a chance to stay but everyone’s pretty much moved on. It won’t stand a chance against Fifty Shades Freed.

Okay,
Not a fan of fifty shades series. I don’t think that it will be on top more than one week
Black Panther is releasing next week It will definately be top at box office for some time.

They’re both going to make lots of money but I think Black Panther will make more.

yeah.
Also, there won’t be a major release between Black Panther and Infinity wars. So black panther will remain on top for some time?

A Wrinkle in Time, Tomb Raider, and Ready Player One all release before Infinity War.
