In honour of Jay Baruchel’s latest film, Random Acts of Violence, I recently had the privilege to join a roundtable along with various other publications where I had the chance to ask Baruchel some questions about the film and the inspirations behind it.
Being a big fan of Jay Baruchel, his voice is what Hollywood needs. When it comes to his latest film, Random Acts of Violence, he gives the film a neat atmosphere. Baruchel has talent in creating genuinely unsettling sequences through his use of images. Meanwhile, the film features a nice color palette. The grading gives it a comic book feel which in turn acted as a sort of meta commentary. Unfortunately, what hold it back...
