Spike Lee isn’t the only prolific filmmaker to have put out two films this year (Jason Reitman, for one, has done so). But, Lee may be the only filmmaker to direct two masterpieces this year…..

With this and Sorry To Bother You, it’s clear that this is the summer of the Oakland set social commentary – and there’s no way you can deny it!
Starting with 2015’s Unfriended, producer Timur Bekmambetov and his production company, Bazelevs, set the bar for film a whole with ScreenLife. This involves stories told in real time through computer screens.
It’s like an in-joke but no one was ever in on the joke in the first place!
I think I only want to see the gay dad, dad beard version of Paul Rudd from now on.
