With the Fast and the Furious series winding down, Vin Diesel is going to need something to do so why not resurrect the XXX series? I forgot about the series all together until this was announced. It was 15 years ago and it’s Ice Cube led sequel was 12 years ago. Is it still relevant? Does it even matter at this point?
Writer and Director M. Night Shyamalan has had a tough run as of late. Ever since The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable, things have been going downhill for him. He is having a comeback, however, after The Visit and now with Split.
This is a big one as it is the last big award contender I will probably get the chance to see, lauded for its screenplay and the performances of Annette Bening and Greta Gerwig.
Ever since the film was announced as an early August 2016 release date, I was excited as I am a big Michael Keaton fan. I have never heard about the story of McDonald’s so the idea of both had me excited. This was one of my most anticipated films of 2016. Then the release date moved around a few more times. I remained patient and now it is here.
