Sixtysomething spinster named Doris Miller (Sally Field) attempts to woo her much younger co-worker John Freemont (Max Greenfield) after she attends a self-help seminar led by a man named Willy Williams (Peter Gallagher). To her surprise, she is soon welcomed into John’s social circle, although her new and exciting life strains her relationship with her longtime best friend Roz (Tyne Daly).
Legendary jazz trumpeter Chet Baker (Ethan Hawke) must relearn his craft in the late ’60s after his front teeth are knocked out during a mugging. As he strives to get his career back on track and overcome his heroin addiction, he receives support from his new girlfriend named Jane (Carmen Ejogo), an actress who was cast to play his lover in a movie about his life.
So Season 6 of Game of Thrones premieres tomorrow night and I (and probably others) am very excited and I have taken the weekend off just to prepare for it (and also see more movies).
