These types of films aren’t for everybody and this was the case here. Some hated it but I loved it since I’m a big fan of B movies. Sure it’s big, stupid, and doesn’t have much of a story but was also a thrill to watch thanks to its sense of style and all the different, excessively violent ways in which the film would rack up a surprisingly high body count. Sometimes you choose to see something because of who is in it. This was the case here with Debra Winger and Tracy Letts starring as a disgruntled married couple. They were definitely worth the price of admission (although it didn’t cost me anything to see it) and it would not have worked as well as it did without them. (original review)
