Eternals Final Trailer

Is the big baddie Galactus showing up in Eternals? Sure looks like it, the new and final trailer of Marvel Studios' Eternals packs a punch. In theatres November 5th.

Chloe Zhao had herself a year. Coming off multiple wins at this year’s Oscars, she now finds herself in the grand universe of the MCU. Her take on the Eternals sure feels like something new and doesn’t quite look like every other single MCU movie that has come before it. Disney has given her the freedom to do her own thing and it shows her sense of filmmaking, which shines in this latest trailer. Some absolute gorgeous cinematography, the monumental cast, perhaps Phase 4 of the MCU is going to let the directors speak for themselves. Something previous movies have lack, a sense of identity.

The big question on everyone’s minds is, “where the heck these people were during the battle against Thanos?” Well, that has been answered in this trailer, by simply stating that the event almost wasn’t big enough and not their responsibility. Unless something known as the Deviants are involved it’s a no-fly zone for our heroes. That’s all about to change because the world may be ending in 7 days and it’s up to the Eternals to save the day.

Nothing like a great, getting the team back together troupe in a movie. Building back the team that has been on Earth for 7000 years, all reuniting for the first time in centuries. The cast is so large and incredibly talented that I can’t list them all, but this feels like a slam dunk of epic proportions. No one feels out of place and I’m sure they will all get their time to shine, but two notable standouts are the Game of Thrones alumni, Kit Harrington and Richard Madden.

Yes, it will have the MCU humor and everything that comes along with being a movie within the MCU, but that doesn’t mean this doesn’t look and feel different. Something the MCU has been lacking as of late. I think stakes will be at an all-time high and this will seriously be a massive launching pad for the MCU going forward. My prediction, the Fantastic Four or at least one of them will be the stinger at the end of the credits.
