Synopsis: With the investigation scratching at a web of old crimes originating inside the building, a mysterious young man turns the tables to spy on Charles, Oliver & Mabel. (Disney)

Following the reveal from the end of last week’s episode, this latest episode went straight from there, showing the complicated relationship between Teddy and his deaf son Theo (James Caverly). An avid lip reader, he had been watching Charles, Oliver, and Mabel and caught wind on the advancements in their investigation though it seemed like he had been watching them and/or been keeping tabs on their investigation for much longer than that. What was pretty much a Theo episode, much of it was from his perspective.

Looking into Teddy’s appartment, Charles and Mabel discovered that there was definitely more going on to his business. However, he soon caught wind of he being a suspect after Theo informed him of what he found. It was revealed that Theo was connected to Mabel and her past while on the periphery of a lot of it, particularly Zoe who wasn’t wearing the emerald ring Theo had let her keep the night she died.

While Charles was spending time with Jan where things got steamy, Oliver and Mabel pursued a lead of their own that threatened to crack the investigation wide open though things did not end well for them but they had enough time to send a bevy of texts to Charles, including the password for Tim Kono’s phone which Williams sent to them at the end of the last episode.

Suspecting that he would be murdered, Tim was prepared and his phone may very well hold the secret to who murdered him. And hopefully Oliver and Mabel survive their current predicament.
