The Oscars (2017) Honest Trailer

I’ve posted a few times about the Honest Trailers from Screen Junkies. For those who still don’t know Honest Trailers are a series of trailer parodies, that satirize films and are often hilarious. If you would like to see more, click here. It was only a matter of time until they covered this year’s Oscar best picture nominees and now they have in the video below. This new edition definitely doesn’t let up with some pretty accurate titles for the 9 nominees. My favorite was Moonlight’s “A Lot of Oscar Stuff”. If you want to watch the Honest Trailer from last year’s Oscars, click here.

Five year old Saroo (Sunny Pawar) gets lost on a train which takes him thousands of miles across India, away from home and family. Saroo must learn to survive alone in Kolkata, before ultimately being adopted by an Australian couple. Twenty five years later (now Dev Patel), armed with only a handful of memories, his unwavering determination, and a revolutionary technology known as Google Earth, he sets out to find his lost family and finally return to his first home.
