Fresh off of this year’s Sundance Film Festival, the fantastically weird sci-fi comedy Sorry To Bother You. The synopsis from Anapurna Pictures reads “In an alternate present-day version of Oakland, telemarketer Cassius Green (Lakeith Stanfield) discovers a magical key to professional success, propelling him into a macabre universe”. I love original movies and this definitely fits the bill in offering a much different perspective all while looking hilarious. I’m jealous of those who got to see this at Sundance and also this year’s SXSW Film Festival. For the rest of us, Sorry To Bother You will be released on July 6th, 2018.
