Stuck in a Rut: The Last Two Weeks Show How Stale “The Flash” Has Become:
I was happy to see there was a new episode of The Flash this week (for some reason I thought it started next week) because although it has its flaws, the superhero show is extremely consistent and fun to watch. One thing I have noticed is the show has been going away from the “villain-of-the-week”motif or at least putting less emphasis on it which may seem like a good thing but it isn’t quite working...
We are well into winter and that means new shows and the return of old ones. So far we have covered several shows where you can find here but with this new season comes new shows to cover and the return of shows we were covering. Here is a list of the new and returning shows (with links) which we will be covering this winter as well as their respective return dates.
I hope everyone is having a great Christmas (I know I am). Since it is that time of year, I thought I should get all of you something.
At some point, all shows get stuck in a rut that features repetitive themes and unoriginal stories. The mid-season finale of The Flash showed just how true this is for the superhero show. I’m not saying it is unwatchable, but Barry and the rest of Team Flash continue to be plagued by the pitfalls of Flashpoint
