It’s that time of the year again. 2016 is coming to an end for a lot of us and everybody else has posted their lists of the best and worst movies of 2016 already so it’s about time that I join in and shared mine. This year, I’ve managed to break my record of 100 movies in 2015 by almost doubling it with 190 movies this year. That’s a lot of movies. Obviously, some were good and some, not so much. For some reason, I liked more movies this year so instead of the usual top 10 list, I’ve expanded it to 20. Below are the top 20 best movies of 2016:

Better late than never I always say. I’ve mentioned many times about beating my record of 100 movies last year and I am now well on my way after seeing 92 movies so far this year. That is a lot of movies and I can’t even imagine where I’ll be at the end of the year. Out of the 92 movies I’ve seen so far in 2016, there definitely were some good ones and some not so good ones. I didn’t think I would ever get here but here I am, now on the one year anniversary of when I started this site. I’ve done a lot of things over this time but the biggest thing for sure was movie reviews. I’ve written a lot of them over the past year which means I’ve seen a lot of movies over that time. The Lady in The Van Review
Based on the real-life tale of a homeless woman named Miss Shepherd (Maggie Smith), who parks her van in the driveway of a house owned by playwright Alan Bennett (Alex Jennings) and lives there for 15 years. Over the course of her stay, the two form a unique friendship.
