Happy Canada Day! Here’s a quick history lesson, Canada came to be on July 1st, 1867 and we celebrate this birthday every year during a day we as Canadians call Canada Day. This year is special as 2017 marks the 150th anniversary of Canada.

William and Katherine (Ralph Ineson and Kate Dickie) lead a devout Christian life, homesteading on the edge of an impassible wilderness, with five children including their daughter Thomasin (Anya Taylor-Joy). When their newborn son mysteriously vanishes and their crops fail, the family begins to turn on one another.
