There’s still plenty of room in here!
Approaching the Unknown
We are going to Mars, again. Or are we? So here’s another going to Mars movie but things do not quite go according to plan for whatever reason. There was surprisingly a lot of depth here as there appears to be some philosophical reason that is driving Captain William D. Staniforth (Mark Strong) to complete his mission. I wouldn’t quite call this a solo mission as there appears to be other people with him which will help as Staniforth appears to maybe lose his sanity from the sheer monotony of his mission. There are some nice special effects here as well. Gravity is one of my favorite space movies of all time so we’ll see how close this one comes. Approaching the Unknown will be released in theatres and on iTunes on June 3rd, 2016.
Florence Foster Jenkins
If you would like to ready my thoughts on the UK trailer of Florence Foster Jenkins, click here. After watching this trailer, I thought I knew what this was about but this new trailer changed my mind. I thought they were just going to make fun of Florence Foster Jenkins (Meryl Streep) and her bad singing voice but this has become much more. I don’t think Florence was aware of this but her story served as an inspiration to others to achieve their dreams. This worked for me as Florence felt like someone you can rally around and her relationship with St. Clair Bayfield (Hugh Grant) was great as well. Florence Foster Jenkins releases August 12th, 2016.
