There hasn’t been a movie this year that has intrigued me more than Thor: Ragnarok. This was mainly because of my curiosity of what director Taika Waititi would do with this franchise. Thor is a great character but his movies haven’t quite risen to his level. I am not surprised that this movie (so far since this is a teaser trailer after all) looks to be a major improvement. It is full of personality and the trailer has Guardians of the Galaxy vibes (funny that it only takes the Immigrant Song to do that). The trailer gives us our first look at Cate Blanchett’s Hela, Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, Jeff Goldblum’s Grandmaster, and last but certainly not least, The Hulk makes an appearance but is not under the best circumstances. I can’t wait to see how it all plays out in less than 7 months away which far too long when Thor: Ragnarok releases November 3rd, 2017.
