Christopher Nolan’s latest feels like he’s pulling no punches, in an odd trailer that will have people scratching their heads in the best way possible. What does TENET mean?
Nolan, a man known for breaking barriers and creating vast stories is back at it again. That’s quite the introduction to TENET, because this is how to do a trailer. Leave people guessing, get them intrigued and most importantly, show off the weirdness that is your new film.
When a trailer begins with a WB and Syncopy logo, it’s about to go down. This is what it’s all about, Nolan is back and he’s brought an entire arsenal with him. No one knows that’s going on here, but it doesn’t mean it’s not amazing to see and more importantly, fun to digest and dissect. TENET, has to deal with time in some manner and we aren’t quite sure yet how or why. John David Washington and Robert Pattinson are part of “The Afterlife” an organization dedicated to some cause, and they appear to be spies.
It’s heartwarming to know that Nolan will be releasing a movie and 2020 will be no different. This looks like Inception mixed with James Bond, and just by the looks of the trailer he’s experimenting in ways we have never really seen before.
We have only just touched the surface of TENET and the whole world can’t wait to know more.
