Fall marks the start of the festival season as studios look to generate buzz and shape their slate of potential award contenders. One of the biggest festivals is the Toronto International Film Festival which takes place every year just after labor day and often features some of the biggest films of the year. As far as this year’s festival was concerned, this was no different with many films either having their world premieres or North American premieres to get the ball rolling. Covering this year’s festival once again, our second as fully-accredited press, it only makes sense that many of the films are well represented in this month’s list.
