  • Mother. Lover. Liar. Thief. Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) stars as the titular Joan Hannington, Britain’s most notorious jewel thief. Joan, inspired by true events, comes to  BritBox December 5.
  • BritBox fan-favorite Shetland is back. BAFTA and Emmy-nominee Ashley Jensen (Extras) returns to the crime drama as DI Calder, desperate to solve her friend’s mysterious disappearance. Shetland season 9 launches on BritBox December 11.
  • BAFTA-nominee Siobhan Finneran (Happy Valley, Downton Abbey) is a witness protection officer in crime drama Protection, premiering exclusively on BritBox December 29.
  • Rounding out BritBox’s “women in crime” lineup is The Jetty. BAFTA-nominee Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who) detangles a thrilling mystery in season 1, arriving to BritBox December 13.
